Scores run from 1 to 5 and describe stable visitor characteristics, not live conditions. They are editorial assessments grounded in official Torrevieja beach information and the practical characteristics documented in the Casa Paris beach guides.
The index deliberately does not calculate one overall score. A quiet natural cove and a lively central beach solve different visitor needs, so a single ranking would hide useful trade-offs.
Flags, waves, water quality alerts, temporary closures, lifeguard coverage and crowd levels can change. Check official information and on-site notices on the day of your visit.
