Torre del Moro: one of Torrevieja’s best free coastal viewpoints.

Torre del Moro is more than a tower. It stands inside a large park-viewpoint on the coastal road between Torrevieja and La Mata and works well as a short scenic stop.

What can you see?

The official tourism page describes views north towards La Mata, Guardamar, Cabo de Santa Pola and Tabarca, and south towards Punta Prima and Isla Grosa. The elevated position gives the stop its real value.

What is Torre del Moro?

The round watchtower is part of Torrevieja’s historic identity and appears on the city coat of arms. The surrounding 23,000 m² park includes paths, landscaped areas and a children’s play area.

What should you combine it with?

It fits naturally with La Mata and the northern coast. If you are staying in the centre, Dique de Levante and Juan Aparicio are easier viewpoints and walks without an extra trip.
