Parks in Torrevieja: four different choices for four different plans
A park for children, a sports park, a railway-history stop and a small central green break should not be treated as the same experience.

Which park should you choose?
Parque de las Naciones is the easiest family choice with lake and play area. Parque La Siesta is stronger for sport and pumptrack. Parque de la Estación combines outdoor space with railway history, while Doña Sinforosa is a compact green stop near the harbour.
Parque de la Estación
Torrevieja's old station opened in 1884 and was important for salt and passenger transport. After the railway closed in 1970, the site became a park with landscaped areas, children's facilities and skate tracks. The old station buildings now house the Natural History Museum, according to Turismo Torrevieja.
Doña Sinforosa and the larger parks
Doña Sinforosa offers trees, gardens, benches, a small ornamental pavilion and a children's area close to the harbour. For much larger family or sports spaces, choose Parque de las Naciones or Parque La Siesta instead.
