Torrevieja’s promenades: which waterfront walk fits your day?
The three central waterfront routes have different strengths. Dique de Levante takes you out to sea, Juan Aparicio combines walking with bathing areas, and Vista Alegre is a shorter harbour-and-culture link.
Dique de Levante
The official tourism site lists the Dique de Levante promenade at 1,600 metres and open 24 hours. The broad walkway follows the historic breakwater, with a cycle route on the lower level.
Choose it when the walk itself is the main activity.
Paseo Juan Aparicio
Also known as Paseo de las Rocas, it combines waterfront walking with protected bathing areas, platforms and sculptures. It is the easiest choice if you want to mix a central stroll with a swim.
Paseo Vista Alegre
Vista Alegre links the centre and harbour with a pergola, seating, greenery and monuments connected to Torrevieja’s musical tradition. It is more of an urban connector than a long exercise route.
