Habaneras or Zenia Boulevard?

If you only need a few shops, Habaneras is closer and more compact. If shopping itself is the day's plan, Zenia Boulevard gives you much more choice.

Quick comparison

Habaneras is in Torrevieja and is the simpler choice for a short shopping trip. Zenia Boulevard is in La Zenia on Orihuela Costa, with more than 160 shops and enough food and leisure options to turn it into a half-day or full-day outing.

Habaneras

Habaneras combines fashion, technology, homeware, food and leisure. The operator currently lists regular shop opening from 10:00 to 22:00 Monday to Saturday and on authorised Sundays, with restaurants open longer.

Zenia Boulevard

The larger centre sits outside Torrevieja in Orihuela Costa. In July and August, the operator lists longer summer trading hours for many shops and extra Sunday openings. Check the calendar before travelling because Sunday and holiday rules vary.

Which one should you choose?

  • Only one or two hours: Habaneras.
  • Many brands and a bigger shopping day: Zenia Boulevard.
  • Without a car and based in Torrevieja: Habaneras is usually easier.
  • Only groceries: use a normal supermarket instead.

A rain-day note

Zenia Boulevard is largely designed as an open-air shopping town rather than a completely enclosed mall, so heavy rain changes the experience more than some older guides suggest.
