When is the market?
The regular Mercadillo de Torrevieja takes place every Friday from 08:00 to 14:00. The city lists 500 stalls and describes it as a general market rather than a specialist one.
Where is it?
The municipal location is Av. Delfina Viudes 1, in the Parque Antonio Soria area. It sits north of the central seafront rather than directly beside the main promenade.
What should you expect?
Because it is a general market, the exact mix of traders and products can vary. Do not assume every category or individual seller will be there every Friday.
Practical tips
In summer, earlier is usually more comfortable than arriving around midday. Since April 2026, the city has also stationed an ambulance at the market on Fridays from 09:00 to 13:30 because of the high visitor numbers and possible heat-related incidents.
