Make this plan fit your stay
This is a plan for three full days, not a late arrival and an early departure squeezed into a three-day break. Swap the days around as needed.
It assumes a stay around the centre. The first route each day starts at the bus station as a clear reference point. Do not travel there unnecessarily: change the start to your actual accommodation in the planner.
Choose a suitable weather day for La Mata and a confirmed opening day for the museum. Check both outward and return bus options before setting off.
Drop large bags at your accommodation first. With a pushchair, wheelchair or limited walking range, shorten the plan and check each access point. This is not an accessibility-certified route.

The promenade and Playa del Cura
Start at Paseo Juan Aparicio and take time to settle in rather than combining several excursions immediately. The promenade brings the sea, city streets and bathing areas together.
Continue towards Playa del Cura. A beach stop is an option, not an obligation: use the flags, weather and your own pace to decide. Take a lunch break nearby rather than crossing town for a particular restaurant.
Paseo Juan Aparicio
La Mata, with optional Molino del Agua
Make La Mata the day's main excursion. Its map point is only a reference on a long beach. Use the beach guide to choose the area you actually want to visit.
Spend most of the day at the beach or along its promenade. Molino del Agua is an optional addition in the dune and pine area near La Mata, not another major excursion. Stay on designated paths and skip it when the journey or heat has already been tiring.

Salt history and Parque de las Naciones
First confirm that Museo del Mar y la Sal is open on your day. It introduces the city's connections with salt production, fishing and seafaring. The official pages list different opening coverage, so this plan does not pretend to provide a definitive weekly timetable.
When the weather suits, add Parque de las Naciones, with its lake and green spaces. This is optional: a break in the centre after the museum is just as valid. Check park access for your visit.

Links pass specific place coordinates, not your hotel address. Dashed map lines and estimated travel times do not confirm a walkable path or the next bus. Check your actual boarding point and return service with the operator.
Check the journey back before you go
Save your accommodation address and check the return connection for your date. On departure day, this leisure plan is not an airport plan: your booked departure, baggage and check-in need their own time allowance.
